In 2007, an architectural historian in Canada cracked a code of bizarre symbols embedded into a government building. That scholar, Frank Albo, published his findings in a book called The Hermetic Code. Unknown to the citizens of Winnipeg, their legislative building is a cleverly designed Masonic Temple and traces its lineage all the way back to Solomon's Temple.

Now, as a PhD candidate in the History of Art at Cambridge University in England, he has discovered other architectural oddities and unearthed a pattern of architects who took Masonic oaths and used their knowledge and craft to encode their beliefs into every single feature of their designs. They had every intention of tapping into the human soul with their building's floor-plan, symbolic decoration and mythological sculptures, intentions that come into focus through Frank's eyes.

If these architects were only following in the footsteps of their ancestors, what does that tell us about ancient buildings like the Parthenon or indigenous rock formations in North America. Frank Albo, as "The Architector", takes us on a world tour of epic buildings and ancient sites as he breaks down the DNA of architecture.
